There is value in starting the day on the mats. Movement sharpens the mind. This is how winning habits are formed, one morning at a time. Consistency, effort and discipline.

Positive mornings build strong people.
Part of the Sorriso BJJ girls team, when the environment is right the focus stays where it belongs. It’s about training with purpose and becoming a better version of ourselves.
Respect for every training partner and zero tolerance for ego or unsafe behaviour.
Our Little Cubs program is where the journey starts. Ages 5 to 8 is a critical development window and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu provides the right structure, discipline and values at the right time. This program is purpose built to deliver long term outcomes that matter:
	•	Confidence through skill acquisition – children learn to solve problems calmly and effectively
	•	Discipline and focus – clear rules, routines and respect for instruction
	•	Physical literacy – balance, coordination, posture and body awareness
	•	Emotional control – learning to manage wins, losses and challenges
	•	Respect and teamwork – training with partners in a safe supervised environment. Progress measured over time, not rushed. This is not about short term hype. It is about setting standards and building habits that support school, sport and life.
The most important aspect of Sorriso BJJ

On the mats, we train with intensity while looking after one another. That balance is deliberate. It is embedded in our culture and reinforced every day.
Respect for training partners.
Respect for coaches.
Respect for the art and the process.
Friendship is built through shared effort, accountability and time on the mat. Trust is earned through consistency and mutual respect. The outcome is a safe, professional and welcoming environment where everyone can perform, progress and belong.
Björn first full week of training. #
Huge congrats to Oscar on earning his purple belt.
Balancing family, work and training isn’t easy but you’ve stayed consistent and kept showing up. That’s what really counts.

This belt is the result of years of effort, patience and doing the work even when life gets busy. Really proud of you brother. Well deserved.🥋
Sorriso Nation is a movement built on discipline, heritage and unity.
We develop people, preserve tradition and build champions on and off the mats. 🥋
Proud is an understatement for Morgan’s journey to black belt. This achievement reflects years of grit, discipline and commitment. Morgan is an incredible person and a standout example of dedication with zero excuses.

Honoured to see this journey up close. Congratulations brother!
Friendship built on the mats hits different.
You sweat together, struggle together, grow together and somewhere in those rounds real connection happens. 🤝

Grateful for Jiu-Jitsu, the art that brings us all into the same room and turns strangers into teammates and teammates into family. 🥋🔥

This lifestyle builds more than technique.
It builds people.
It builds loyalty.
It builds community.

Oss.
She’s done it again double gold at the ADCC Open NZ.
Frankie this is elite execution. Relentless, disciplined, unstoppable!
Proud of you. 🥋❤️🇳🇿
Proud doesn’t even start to cover it. My niece Isabela is already walking the path, fully committed to the art and delivering results that speak for themselves. Gold at her very first tournament as a gray white belt that’s best practice execution from day one.

It’s tough being far from her but distance doesn’t dim the progress. She’s growing into a strong, disciplined, value driven young woman and I couldn’t be more confident in the trajectory she’s building.

I love this girl to bits. She’s carrying the legacy forward and the future looks outstanding. Love you Belinha! 🥋❤️🥇
Dedication and discipline drive results. Achievement isn’t luck it’s earned through consistent effort and commitment. Keep pushing the standard little Ava. 🥋🏆❤️
Happy birthday, Mestre!
Thank you for giving me the gift of Jiu Jitsu and shaping the path I walk today. Deep respect and gratitude always. 🙏🥋
Great evening on the mats with part of our St John’s crew!
Tonight’s session focused on X-Guard concepts and transitions, diving deep into possible opponent reactions and behaviour while exploring the principles of balance and flow.
These are essential skills for both competitors and hobbyists, helping to expand awareness, timing and guard control.

It’s always inspiring to see the progress, teamwork, and passion that continues to grow every time I visit.🥋🏆
